Eclectic Selections Of Everything But Opera

About Us

Gail Burnett is a professional musician with a passion for entertaining and teaching young children.  She has released two CDs for children called "Miss Gail and The Jumpin' Jam Band" and "I Just Can't Sit Here".  Gail has recently released two Miss Gail and the Junpin' Jam Band EPs: "A Jumpin' Christmas" and "Quiet Time".

For more than 10 years, Gail has taught and entertained hundreds of children. She is a Certified Instructor/Center Director of the highly acclaimed Music Together® curriculum for children aged birth to 5. She  loves performing at children's birthday parties, events and---most notably---as a Featured Entertainer with Pottery Barn Kids® in the regional southeast area.

In addition to her work with children, Gail has a degree in cello performance and she’s performed with symphonic and chamber music groups. She is a studio musician, too, singing vocal demo tracks and writing cello parts for other artists.

She recently played cello on many CDs (some links to these will be coming soon!), and, of course she is part of ESOEBO with Chuck McDowell. She’s been a lead vocalist for a local band and a wedding soloist. She is the Director of Early Childhood Music at The Academy of the Arts at Perimeter and a worship team vocalist and cellist at Perimeter Church.

Chuck McDowell is not a trained musician.

In fact were it not for a freak accident involving a bolt of lightning, a concrete block, and a slimjim, then ESOEBO might not exist today.

For some unexplained reason, the event allowed Chuck to channel the musical influences of the 40’s, 50’s, 60’s, 70’s, 80’s, 90’s, 21st Century through a filter of folk, rockabilly, hillbilly, blues, boogie-woogie, and TV show tunes to merge in to a style of music the world now knows as ESOEBO.  For reasons unknown to modern medicine, opera was the only genre omitted from the transformation which took place after the accident.

Chuck has several CDs but most were acquired in the bargain bin at WalMart.  He is most proud of the ESOEBO CD which you can get on iTunes if you go back to the home page :-)

In addition to being a freak of nature, Chuck has written and recorded several popular novelty songs.  Another of his songs was recently featured in a TV documentary.  He also sings and plays at Perimeter Church as well as local establishments that serve really good food (perks of the trade).
